Meeting in the library

Jenn laughed, "Well you may be right about Snape, after all I'm a Slytherin, but McGonagall? No way! She despises me." she smirked, "Can't get over the fact that I'm a great quidditch player, apparently."

"Really? I thought she was objective!" said Nymphadora, quite shocked...

"Objective? HA! She doesn't know how to be objective when competition is in the line up." Jenn replied. "She doesn't treat me any differently in class but she doesn't exactly like me either."

"McGonagall never shows her feelings in class... If she doesn't treat you badly then she just behaves like a teacher to a student... she does that with everyone..." Nymphadora spoke after a few moments... "Don't worry, this is McGonagall... she pretends to have no opinion about students..."

"I don't just mean in class. Sometimes I feel that she looks down on me when I see her in corridors." Jenn replied, "It could be because she heard the hate arguing with me about being put in Gryffindor instead of Slytherin."

"Well... maybe that was a bit hard... I mean... she loves her House... that doesn't mean that she hates the others... I would recommend you talk to her about that... if you feel offended..." Nymphadora said...

"Hm, yeah maybe I will." Jenn replied "I still think you should talk to them about extra support for your homework and stuff. I'm sure there are plenty of people who'd be glad of study classes."

"I don't know... maybe I should talk to Flitwick... but he seems to be really busy..." Nymphadora seemed a lot worried...

"He's a teacher, of course he's busy but it's his job to teach. If you tell him what's worrying you I'm sure he'll be happy to start a tutor session." Jenn replied.

"you're right... I'll talk to him..." said Nymphadora... she obviously needed help, why did she keep avoiding to admit it?

She looked at Nymphadora for a second, "Don't take this the wrong way, but is it because you're a Ravenclaw that you don't want to ask for help?" she asked, knowing the house names put a lot of pressure on students to perform to a certain standard.

"No... actually, I almost forgot I'm a Ravenclaw..." she replied...

"Okay, like I said, I didn't mean anything by it." She smiled.

"It's ok... why should I think that you mean something?" asked Nymphadora... "I mean, you always say exactly what you want to say..."

Laughing she replied, "Yeah that is true."

"And very good..." added Nymphadora...

"I'm not so sure. It could get me into trouble one of these days." Jenn replied, thinking about how she handles things.

"Well, you can avoid being misunderstood, that's a good thing..." said Nymphadora trying to make her feel better...

Jenn smiled slightly, "Yeah I guess." stifling a yawn she said, "How long do you think it'll take you to finish?" she asked, not wanting to leave her alone, it seemed unfair for some reason.

"I don't know... maybe an hour..." she looked at Jenn... "You don't have to wait for me..." she smiled...

"Nah, I'll wait with you." Jenn replied, not really feeling too tired any more.

"Why?" asked Nymphadora... "I mean... you don't have to, but you stay..."

"Well, this will sound weird but, personally, I concentrate more when there's at least one other person around. If it's too quiet then I get really edgy and kind of paranoid. Plus, it's always nice to have some company. Even if it's only to sit around while you're studying." Jenn replied. "But if you want me to go I'll go."

"It's not that you bother me... but, the only person that has treated me good so far was Luna Lovegood from Ravenclaw..." replied Nymphadora...

"Well you've clearly not met the right people yet then." Jenn replied with a smile.
